72% were Caucasian

11% were Hispanic
9% were Other (or not given)

95% of perpetrators were a person
known to the child and/or family
518 Known Perpetrators:
Parent = 43% Stepparent = 5% Other Relative = 15%
Parent’s Paramour = 14% Other Known Person = 18%
Unknown Perpetrators= 5%
